The Volunteer Firefighters of Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim have new personal protective equipment.
This equipment can be used to fight structural fires (urban and industrial).
This investment «results from the coordinated action between the two municipalities for the financial and operational support of the structure in the field of civil protection and relief», says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
Despite the difficulties, the municipality says that «it is essential to maintain a permanent emergency service that is solid and well prepared, as well as the maintenance of the Medical Emergency Post in Azinhal (PEM)».
