Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is already preparing a new edition of the Algarve Classic Festival

Circuit Algarve hosts this event in October

With three months to go before one of the most charismatic and important events on its calendar takes place, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is preparing in detail another edition of the Algarve Classic Festival.

In 2022, there were 224 machines that lined up on the starting grids – and were on display in the circuit paddock – and in a unique and magical environment for motorsport lovers, the F1 of the 80s stood out, such as the six-wheel Tyrrel , the Williams with which the Finn Keke Rosberg won the Monaco GP in 1983 or the first Lotus with a chassis built in carbon, not forgetting the Endurance cars, which were also the object of admiration of the many thousands who went to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.

In 2023, the objective is, once again, to have a luxury entry list in what, for many, is one of the reference events in the European calendar of classics.

Between the 27th and 29th of October, there will certainly be many car lovers from all over Europe who will attend the event.

“Last year, we had 224 entries in the most diverse categories in competition and this year we want to surpass that same record. The Algarve Classic Festival is already an event that is on the calendar of many drivers and car racing enthusiasts, a unique opportunity to see historic machines on track and in competition that bring back memories to many of those who visit us”, said Paulo Pinheiro, the CEO of Parkalgar.

“We are once again preparing the event in detail and we will also create more attractions for those who come to our circuit over the weekend, in order to create an environment for the whole family, from the youngest to the youngest. older people, who will, for sure, enjoy all the magic and unique atmosphere that has always been experienced at the Algarve Classic Festival”, he added.

In a month that will be intense and with a lot of action on the Algarve asphalt, the Algarve Classic Festival will take to the track a week after the double round of the European Le Mans Series, which will close the 2023 season of that same championship.
