The Municipality of Lagoa has already invested around half a million euros this year in paving 16 municipal roads, in various areas of the municipality, the municipality announced this Monday.
The Parish of Porches, the county's most rural territory, was the place where most roads were paved, followed by the territory of the Union of Parishes of Lagoa and Carvoeiro and the territory of the Union of Parishes of Estômbar and Parchal.
According to the municipality, other pavements are still planned awaiting the placement of water distribution pipelines, namely in the Parish of Ferragudo, in the Parish of Porches and in the Union of the Parishes of Estômbar and Parchal.
«The Municipality of Lagoa will continue to take care of the rural roads so that they remain passable and so that motorists can use them safely, being able, in some places, to pave them, if so justified», reinforces the Câmara de Lagoa .
However, the Municipality of Lagoa informs that, in the coming years, it will also repave urban areas where the pavement is already degraded and in need of intervention.
