A 20-year-old young man was arrested on the 12th of June for robberies and theft in establishments, in Vilamoura.
According to the GNR, the crimes of theft, using a bladed weapon, led to a 10-month investigation that culminated in the identification of the suspect, indicted for seven robberies and one theft in establishments.
During the course of the action, an arrest warrant and two house search warrants were complied with, in Vilamoura and Quarteira, which culminated in the seizure of 15 doses of cocaine, a tactical knife, a mountain pass, a mobile phone, items of clothing and a purse and 720 euros in cash.
The detainee was constituted an arguido and will be present at the Judicial Court of Faro for the application of coercive measures.
