Bárbara Bandeira is the headliner of the Festivities in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary that take place from June 30th to July 2nd, in Altura (Castro Marim). The singer's concert is on Saturday, the 1st, at 22:00.
Due to works in the parking lot at Praia da Alagoa and in the Polidesportivo, the venue for the party was changed this year to the Football Field 11.
The initiative starts on the 30th of June, Friday, with Youth Day. In an initiative of the Associação de Jovens de Tata, Young-Link, with the support of the municipality of Castro Marim, this will be a day markedly dedicated to sports activity. Between Praia da Alagoa and Skate Park de Altura, there will be a beach volleyball tournament, a beach soccer tournament and a skate demonstration workshop.

At night, the party moves to the Festas venue, with Sugaland Band opening, followed by a concert by Domingues and, closing, DJ Gustavo Vera.
Saturday is the day of the concert by Bárbara Bandeira, at 22:00. The singer recently opened for Coldplay concerts in Coimbra.
Sunday, July 2nd, is marked by religious celebrations. The homage to the patron saint of Altura begins at 17 pm, with the recitation of the rosary, followed by the celebration of the Eucharist and the Procession in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, scheduled for 30 pm. The ARUTLA dance show will close the Festivities in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
During the three days of festivities, from 19 pm onwards, the Altura Handicraft Fair will offer «a genuine display of local arts and crafts, with a huge variety of regional sweets», says the Castro Marim Chamber.
The Festivities in Honor of the Imaculado Coração de Maria are jointly organized by the Municipality of Castro Marim and the Parish of Altura, with the support of the Parish Council of Altura, Clube Recreativo Alturense, Associação Young Link and Irmandade do Imaculado Coração de Maria.
