Virginia Guest House opens in Lagoa in an investment by Carvoeiro Clube Group

«Completely renovated», the guest house has ten rooms, a small kitchen and a cozy patio

The Virginia Guest House opened its doors in the old town center of Lagoa in the first week of May, as part of an investment by the Carvoeiro Clube Group, now committed to «expanding its offer especially for tourists who prefer to explore more and relax less».

The new guest houses it appears on the site of the former Pensão Virgínia, a historic hotel facility in Lagoa, founded by the businesswoman who gave the name to the house.

"Completely renovated", the guest houses it has ten rooms, a small kitchen and a cozy courtyard.

According to the Carvoeiro Clube Group, this «traditional and authentic two-story house offers affordable accommodation in an urban and calm environment, especially for those passing through, for cyclists or even for digital nomads».

The Associação Turismo do Algarve «has been recording a constant increase in sustainable travel, with tourists looking for authentic and individual experiences beyond conventional tourism».

Patricia Buerer, CEO of the Carvoeiro Clube Group, confirms this trend: «more and more guests are going to discover the landscape and cultural attractions of the Algarve, to explore the countryside and interact with the local population. Our new guest house, in the heart of Lagoa, seeks to support this trend».

«We deliberately decided not to build a new building, opting instead for the renovation of a traditional Portuguese house», explains Andreas Stocker, Chairman of the Carvoeiro Clube Group.

The renovation of the Virginia Guest House was guided and supervised by the COO of Carvoeiro Clube Group, Paulo de Carvalho. «With our investment in a traditional building and conscious support for individual tourism, we intend to preserve the beauty of this region and show that tourism and sustainability go hand in hand».
