A 28-year-old young man was arrested for "strong indications" of sexually abusing his stepdaughter, aged 9, in the municipality of Olhão, said this Tuesday, May 23, the Judiciary Police (PJ).
According to the PJ, the attacks took place "in different periods", but began in 2021.
The investigation made it possible to collect “various pieces of evidence”, “namely reports of sexual assaults and exposure to pornographic content perpetrated by the detainee”.
«The sexual assaults always took place in an environment that was totally controlled» by this man, usually at his residence, which «was frequented by the minor, sometimes accompanied, sometimes unaccompanied by the mother».
The inquiry is directed by the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Olhão.
