The meeting “From (In)Consciousness of the body to movement literacy”, co-organized by the União de Freguesias de Faro, Higher School of Health of the University of Algarve and Higher School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, takes place this Saturday, May 13, at the regional headquarters of the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, in Faro.
This meeting is intended not only for health and education professionals, but also for the general public.
The communications and activities «are intended to highlight the importance that touch and movement have in the overall development and learning of children from pregnancy, through the different stages of development», says the organization.
The initiative runs from 9:00 am to 16:30 pm, and admission is free.
