The Co-management Commission of the Ria Formosa Natural Park (PNRF) promotes, this May, five participatory sessions to collect contributions.

The objective is to listen to people about the PNRF, assess the opportunities and threats that this protected area faces, as well as gather ideas to promote, raise awareness and communicate the Park. The first session is tomorrow and no prior registration is required.

The Co-management Committee of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, in which the Algarve Intermunicipal Community (AMAL) participates, aims to create a shared dynamic for valuing the protected area, based on its sustainability and focusing specifically on the fields of promotion, awareness and communication.

These sessions are one of the key activities to promote participatory management in the development of this co-management model.

Thus, each of the five municipalities with an area in the PNRF (Loulé, Faro, Olhão, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António) will host one of the sessions that will take place in May.
