L14 restaurant reopens with author letter and Sunday brunch

Sunday Brunch is available until June 25th from 12:00 to 15:00

The L14 Restaurant, located at NAU Salgados Dunas Suites, at Herdade dos Salgados, in Albufeira, reopens now for the new season with an author's letter signed by chef Vítor Monteiro and Sunday brunch. 

The L14 restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, between 19 pm and 00 pm, and features a cuisine centered on the concept of typical Portuguese dishes, «with a touch of sophistication», and a menu that includes seven options of starters, five fish dishes, five meat dishes, three vegetarian options and four desserts.

The starters include the smoked mackerel millefeuille and tapenade, the duck and fig ravioli with smoked magret and mushroom broth, or the fried prawns with toast.

In the fish dishes, the codfish confit with crispy egg with garlic and pennyroyal bread soup, turbot with shellfish sauce, rooster fish with cuttlefish giblets, or croaker Wellington with asparagus.

In the meat section, there is grilled chuck with chips and watercress salad and bearnese sauce, pork neck with grilled potatoes, asparagus and pickle sauce, or lamb shank with dark beer and sweet potato purée. In the vegetarian dishes section, the creamy rice with mushrooms and asparagus with cheese from the island stands out.

For dessert, the melting with fig ice cream and pennyroyal ice cream is already emblematic of the L14.



With the reopening of L14, the restaurant's Sunday Brunch also returns. Until the 25th of June, every Sunday, from 12h00 to 15h00, L14 offers a varied buffet of cold and hot dishes, signed by chef Vítor Monteiro.

The cold cuts section includes fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats, homemade yoghurts, smoked salmon and garnishes. The counter offers pastries, brioches, milk breads, homemade cake, Berlin ball, donuts, cereals, golden slices, dried fruits, seeds and spinach quiche, bacon and cheese.

Hot options feature herbed sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon and fresh herbed sausage. The offer also highlights Wellington with beef cheek, chicken Benedict, various bowls, eggs Benedict and avocado toast, in addition to pancakes plain or with your choice of topping. Desserts include fruit tartlets, lemon meringue, brownie and salted caramel chocolate tart.

To accompany there are drinks such as mimosas, natural orange juice, coffee, tea, sparkling wine and other options.

The L14 Sunday Brunch is priced at 27 euros for an adult and 13,50 euros for children between 3 and 12 years old.
