The Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, in Lagoa, will host the Portuguese Contemporary Ballet Company, by Vasco Wellenkamp, with the dance show “Na Substância do Tempo”, on World Dance Day, on April 29, at 19 pm.
The work was created together with Miguel Ramalho, inspired by the poetry of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen.
«I began by instilling in the creative process the feeling that his poetry instigates in me, inciting the dancers to be amazed and to let the sensation experienced within our ontological conditions radiate moving images that, intertwined with the laws of internal gravitation of dance steps, appear as a transfigured substance», explains the creator of the piece.
Tickets for the show cost eight euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the ticket offices in the Municipality of Lagoa) and are already on sale here and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S. José Cultural Center and the Lagoa Municipal Council's Single Counter.
