Tunas Mixed Festival of the University of Algarve is about to take the stage

On the 14th and 15th of April

The 15th MISTUNA – Mixed Tunas Festival of the University of Algarve will liven up the city of Faro when taking the stage on the 14th and 15th of April. 

The festival is organized by Real Tuna Infantina, the Tuna Académica Mista of the University of the Algarve, founded on May 15, 1995, and will feature a Night of Serenades, open to the public, and the great show.

The night of serenades takes place on the 14th of April, at the Municipal Museum of Faro, at 22:00, and the show will take place on the 15th of April, at the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Grand Auditorium, on the Gambelas Campus, at 21:00.

«This project, in which we place so much love year after year, is the reflection of the effort and dedication of a team that, generation after generation, works to keep alive the academic tradition of the University of the Algarve. It is events of this caliber that dignify and elevate not only our University, but also the magnificent city of Faro and even the Algarve region», says the tuna.

The tunas competing in this edition will be ForTuna and Tuna Económicas, both from Lisbon, EnfTuna, from Portalegre, and Quantunna, from Coimbra.

As guest tunas, Versus Tuna – Academic Tuna from the University of Algarve, Feminis Ferventis – Female Academic Tuna from the University of Algarve, and In Versus, Group of Fados and Guitarradas from Coimbra.

MISTUNA – Mixed Tunas Festival of the University of Algarve was born in 2000 and already has 14 editions.
