The Leisure Area, inserted in the sports area of the Padre António Martins de Oliveira Secondary School (ESPAMOL), in Lagoa, opens to the population from tomorrow, Saturday, April 29th.
The city of Lagoa will thus have a new leisure area, inserted in the ESPAMOL sports area, which will open from 09:00 am to 23:00 pm, during weekends, holidays and during school breaks (holidays) and 18:00 pm to 23:00 pm, during the week, during class periods.
The sports area is equipped with a football field, another basketball court, a running circuit with six fitness equipment and four leisure areas, which can be used informally by all those who want to enjoy the space.
«The reclassified sports area and new leisure area result from a cooperation protocol signed between the Municipality of Lagoa and the Ministry of Education, which allowed the Padre António Martins de Oliveira Secondary School to be endowed with better conditions for the practice of sports, which it can be used by communities and also allows people from Lagos to have one more area where they can practice sports», explains the Council.
The Municipality of Lagoa calls on all residents of Lagoa and potential users of the space to "respect all safety rules, preserve it and leave it clean with each use".
«For security reasons, the lights in the leisure area will be on during the night, although with different intensities», concludes the municipality.
