25th of April in Lagoa and Praia do Carvoeiro is celebrated with music and sport

The 25th of April in Lagoa and Praia do Carvoeiro will be celebrated with a program that includes music and sport. 

The highlight goes to the show by Ricardo Sousa singing Abril, on Rua 25 de Abril, in Lagoa, and the Mercadinho de Abril and Largada de Pombos from 10 am.

At Praia do Carvoeiro, the celebrations will begin at 9:30 am, with the National Anthem, raising of the National Flag and the release of pigeons.

Marcha e Corrida will start from this square, preceded by a warm-up with Yannick Nicklaus.

This initiative is organized by the Union of the Parishes of Lagoa and Carvoeiro and has the support of the Municipality of Lagoa.
