Portimonense wastes two penalties and gives victory to Chaves

Algarve team is thus in 14th place in the championship

Portimonense lost this Saturday, March 11th, against Chaves, by 2-0, in a game of the 24th round of the Portuguese Football League.

In Chaves, Juninho, in the 31st minute, and Abass, in the 73rd minute, scored the winning goals for the home team, in a match in which the Algarve team wasted two penalties and in which Flavian goalkeeper Rodrigo Moura was expelled for accumulating yellows, in the 88th minute.

Portimonense thus adds the third defeat in a row, placing 14th in the championship, with 26 points. Desportivo de Chaves, on the other hand, returns to winning ways, after four games without a win, and climbs to 11th place, with 29 points.
