The Algarveans return to the Lagoa Humor Festival

On the 23rd, 24th and 25th of March

The Algarveans return to the Lagoa Humor Festival, from the 23rd to the 25th of March, with two comedy plays.

“Last Tango in Little Grimley” and “Lockdown in Little Grimley”, by David Tristam, will be the pieces presented at HUMORFEEST'2023, at 19:45 pm.

“Last Tango in Little Grimley” is about a village Amateur Drama Club that needs to sell tickets. “There's only one thing that sells tickets these days,” explains Gordon, the president. "Sex!". And so begins the build-up to a night of drama.

In “Lockdown in Little Grimley” Gordon calls an emergency, socially-distanced meeting to discuss the idea for the next production when restrictions ease – “a touching love story in a hospital, with all proceeds going to the national health service », reads the synopsis.

Tickets for this show cost 12 euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the ticket offices of the Municipality of Lagoa) and are already on sale on the BOL and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S. José Cultural Center and the Lagoa Municipal Council's Single Counter.

The HUMORFEEST'2023 program also features “Escolhas”, by Pedro Tochas, on March 4th, at 21 pm, “RESORT”, by Beatriz Likes, on March 30th, at 8 pm, “Ri-te como Jacques”, by Plateia Protagonista, on March 19, at 00 pm, and “Vamos Todos Die Live”, by Hugo van der Ding, Ana Markl and Tiago Ribeiro, on March 16, at 19 pm.
