The Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha organizes, on the 11th of March, a pedestrian walk with a visit to distilleries of arbutus brandy in the Serra do Caldeirão.
The initiative takes place within the scope of the Feira da Aguardente e Mel.
«In addition to providing a visit to the arbutus brandy producers, participants will be able to be dazzled by the beautiful landscapes that Serra do Caldeirão offers at this time of year, with a route of approximately 10 kilometers», says the organization.
Along the route, participants will be able to observe some elements of the rural heritage and subsistence activity of the parish of Salir and, at the end, they are all treated to a mountain lunch, in the middle of the Feira da Aguardente e Mel.
The organization will also provide support to the participants, with the distribution of water, fruit and cakes.
This activity has the support of the Municipality of Loulé and the Parish Council of Salir. Entries can be made here
