The Judiciary Police, through the Southern Directorate, identified and arrested a 40-year-old man, residing in the southern part of the country, on suspicion of committing the crime of qualified fraud and forgery of documents.
The suspect managed to convince the heads of a Management and Accounting Society to entrust him with the informal management of the company, having appropriated large amounts from the company's accounts, namely amounts that had been entrusted to him for the settlement of tax obligations, falsifying documents to the effect.
The detainee will now be present at the first judicial interrogation for the application of coercive measures.
