The Municipality of Lagoa honored, last Tuesday, January 17th, the workers who completed 25, 30 and 40 years at home, during 2021 and 2022, and the workers who retired during the last year. A total of 52 employees were honored.
The ceremony began at 18 pm with a speech by the mayor, Luís Encarnação, followed by a tribute to an employee and a tribute to employees who retired during the course of the year. Afterwards, employees who completed 30, 2021 or 2022 years with the company during 40 and 30 were honored.
This ceremony featured the performance of the musician Ricardo Sousa and moments of humor by the actor duo Carlos Pacheco and Telma Brazona.
The initiative was put into practice by the Municipality of Lagoa, which considered it important to implement a measure of recognition of the competence, commitment, loyalty and honesty «of those who for years and years dedicate themselves to the public cause and make it possible, in their daily practice , with pride and zeal, the execution of public policies.
The Municipality of Lagoa also recognizes the impact and importance that conciliation has on the lives of its male and female workers, whether in the management of their professional, personal and family activities, or in their personal and professional development.
