On the 14th of December, the Aljezur Chamber handed over the school merit awards to the 14 students of the Professora Piedade Matoso School Group, who distinguished themselves in the 2021/2022 school year.
The ceremony took place in the Town Hall, with the presence of students and families.
Each winning student received a diploma and a prize worth 500 euros.
The initiative, which has been carried out since 2005, aims, according to the municipality, “to highlight and recognize the merit of students, from the 4th to the 9th grade.
