Forum will discuss wine tourism in the Algarve

Names such as Filipe Vasconcellos, CEO of Morgado do Quintão, and Sara Silva, president of the Algarve Wine Commission will participate in this forum.

The Regional Enotourism Forum will take place next Monday, December 5th, from 14 pm, in the Auditorium of the Convent of São José, in Lagoa.

The initiative will serve to discuss «wine tourism in the Algarve region, its strengths» and what can be improved.

Program:

14:30 am – Reception of Participants

15:00 pm – Presentation of the Portuguese Wine Tourism Association APENO (mission, advantages and activities) – Members of the Board of APENO

15:45 -Prevention and Risk Management as a key to the efficiency of Wine Tourism –– Francisco Erse – SME & Corporate Manager of the Ageas Portugal Group

16:30 pm – Presentation of the APENO Wine Tourism Guide (a project already under development that intends to assert itself as the reference wine tourism guide at national and international level) – Adelino Abrantes – APENO commercial and editorial consultant,

17h00 – Debate: Reflections on Enotourism: The sector's needs – A brief conversation about the region's main challenges for wine tourism in the Algarve region.

Participants: André Gomes, Director of the promotion, animation and tourist information nucleus of the Algarve Regional Tourism Authority; Filipe Vasconcellos, CEO of Morgado do Quintão; Sara Silva, president of CVR do Algarve.
