Expensive Soul will perform on New Year's Eve, in Quarteira, which, this year, will be on Passeio das Dunas and not on Praça do Mar.
Although this is the high point, the festivities begin earlier.
On the 28th of December, a series of sporting activities will take place, such as the traditional São Silvestre Race, which will start at 20 pm.
In a race of 5 kilometers and, for the most daring, 10 kilometers, the route includes the passage through Praça do Mar, Calçadão or Avenidas Sá Carneiro and Mota Pinto. To regain strength, at the end, participants will be toasted with a slice of bolo-rei and hot tea.
For the 29th of December, starting at 21 pm, the proposal is a family night, with the performance of international folklore dance groups based in the city. And on the 00th, New Year's Eve, at the same time, local artist Marc Noah takes the stage, followed by another national project, Hybrid Theory The Linkin Park Tribute.
On New Year's Eve, the venue will open at 21 pm with background music and at 30 pm it will be the turn of the group from Leça da Palmeira, Expensive Soul, to take the stage.
In addition to the fireworks show, from 00:15, there will be a performance by DJ Christian F.
