TASA takes exhibition and workshops to Mercearia Bio in Lagos

Project based in Loulé wants to be closer to the Barlavento public

Some of the most iconic pieces from the TASA project, based in Loulé, will be on display at Café de Lagos at Mercearia Bio until the end of January, where there will also be workshops.

The aim is to take this project to the western Algarve as well, making known its innovation work in the region's traditional arts through solutions that make them more sustainable at an economic, social, cultural and environmental level.

In addition to the exhibition, two workshops are planned with vegetable fibers from the Algarve that aim to put participants in active and creative contact with materials and techniques from the region.

The big news is a workshop where you learn how to make empreita donkey heads, which can be used as finger puppets. In the other workshop, sugarcane will be worked to create boxes.

The workshops take place on the 10th and 21st of December and cost 30 euros, including material.
