ROPOQ, a string quartet of professional musicians residing in the Algarve, brings to the Festival of the Years of Álvaro de Campos, this Sunday, November 6, “Any Music”, a concert that includes a repertoire that goes from 1890 (year of “birth” by Álvaro de Campos) until 1935 (year of Fernando Pessoa's death).
The show takes place at the Igreja da Misericórdia de Tavira, at 18:30 pm, and will, according to the Associação Partilha Alternativa, responsible for organizing the SCHEDULE, «a sample of what would have been, in that period, the “expression in rhythm, without the intermediary of the idea”, to which Fernando Pessoa refers».

After this initiative, the program will continue on the 11th and 12th with the Bartolomeu dos Santos Workshop (OBS), intended only for students from Tavira Schools. The workshop is taught by specialists in engraving techniques from OBS.
Also on the 12th, at 11:00 am, the film “The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis”, by João Botelho, will be screened at Cinema NOS, in Tavira Plaza.

In addition, on that day, between 12:00 and 24:00, Rádio Movimento Online passes the Fernando Pessoa Marathon, with two creations, an older one (2015) and a new one, both made for this festival and inspired by the poet's work.
On the 13th, at 18:30 pm, Luís Conceição offers a new reading of the theme “The Mad Fiddler”, paying tribute to the violin and violinists.
For this concert, which takes place at Clube de Tavira, the pianist presents a mixed repertoire of songs inspired by folklore, especially Irish, as well as some classical music. The piano is accompanied by Jan Pipal on violin.
Álvaro de Campos' Birthday Party started on the 15th of October and ends on the 30th of November.
