The Municipal Library of Faro António Ramos Rosa dedicates the month of November to the theme of Mourning, with several initiatives for different audiences, raising awareness of the importance of reflecting on death.
Considering it is important to enhance the social aspect of the Library as a cultural and leisure facility within the community, the project “Biblioteca Social – Humaniza-te” addresses social issues such as mental health, volunteering, autism and refugees, topics already covered.
Now, on November 30th, at 17:30 pm, under the theme “Saber Say Goodbye”, the “Social Library – Humaniza-te” will reflect on the importance of mourning, accepting death and giving more meaning to life, in together with the technicians of the Oficina do Sentir, but also with the testimony of other professionals and the general public that expresses an interest in sharing their testimony.
Under the heading “Inclusion Thursdays”, every Thursday in November, sessions are held by the Library’s Educational Service team, for 1st cycle schools in the municipality of Faro.
