New bodies of the Socialist Women of the Algarve have already taken office

Power taking took place on Friday, November 18

The swearing-in of the Political Commission of Socialist Women (MS-ID) of the Algarve and of Ana Passos, elected president, took place last Friday, November 18, at the District Headquarters of the PS, in Faro.

The moment included the reading of the minutes of installation of the President and the Political Commission, followed by the swearing-in of the militants elected in the elections held to November 5th for those bodies.

Then there was the election of the Regional Secretariat and the Board, with Margarida Flores elected as president.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Ana Passos underlined that «this act represents a moment of great affirmation for MS-ID in the Algarve, marking the beginning of a new regional political project that gains strength and dynamics with this great team of women. from all over the Algarve».

In the same record of collaboration and joint work, he also launched an invitation to all socialist militants “to continue to participate in the noble mission of this important socialist body. Only with your help, only with your precious contribution and your invaluable commitment, will it be possible to reinforce the political action of the Socialist Party and enable an intervention that truly strengthens the role of women in the Algarve and in the country”.
