The Minister of Internal Administration José Luís Carneiro will be this Tuesday, November 15, in Loulé, to preside over the signing ceremony of the Collaboration Protocol for the construction of the GNR Territorial Command of Faro.
The protocol is signed between the Municipality of Loulé, the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Administration and the National Republican Guard, at 18:00, in the Main Hall of the Municipality of Loulé.
At 16:00, there is also the signing of protocols for the constitution of seven Permanent Intervention Teams in the Algarve (EIP). The protocols, to be concluded between the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority, the Municipal Councils and the Humanitarian Fire Associations, «aim to improve the efficiency of Civil Protection and the conditions of prevention and assistance in the face of accidents and disasters».
The IPEs are formed by professional firefighters and are characterized by their high specialization, with different skills to act in different scenarios.
This protocol will be signed at the Algarve logistical support base of the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority, in Quarteira.
