The Alcoutim City Council launched the campaign – “Adopt me”, which aims to raise awareness of the adoption of companion animals that are in the “Animal Space”.
In this space of the village, there are now more than 50 dogs, available for responsible adoption, adds the municipality.
The president of the Chamber Osvaldo Gonçalves recalls that having “a pet is something unique, but the adoption of a new Family member cannot be taken lightly.”
Those interested should contact the “Espaço Animal” in Alcoutim, by calling 281 540 500, or consult the Municipality website🇧🇷 where you can meet some of the animals for adoption and a form to demonstrate the intention to adopt is available.
This initiative began in the XNUMXth edition of Feira da Perdiz, during which some of the animals present in that space were presented.
