“Voices without borders” and “random stages” to see and hear in Milreu

The Roman Ruins of Milreu (Estoi) will host, this weekend, the 15th and 16th of October, the projects “Vozes sem Fronteiras” and “Random Stages – Performance and Video Installation”, within the scope of DiVaM – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments

The Associação Cultural Música XXI presents, at the Roman Ruins of Milreu, the project “Voices without borders”, by the Female Choir “Outras Vozes”, this Saturday, October 15th, at 17:00.

Sunday, the 16th, the monument receives “random stages_random stages {or the urgency of (me) moving around}” by ananeto, at 16:00. The project, promoted by Corpo de Hoje Cultural Association, consists of microperformances/installations in the interior and exterior spaces of the Ruínas de Milreu, and the installation of videos in the rural house, with images of random stages recorded in other Portuguese and European cities.

Entry to both initiatives is free.

On the DRCAlg agenda, there is also another edition of Café com Letras, with the theme “Educating for Human Rights”, on Friday, October 14th, at 18:30, at Fnac of the Algarve Forum. The guests are Laura de Witte (educator for Human Rights), Francisco Piedade (journalist, director of DiariOnline Region South) and the moderation of Adriana Freire Nogueira (Regional director of Culture of the Algarve).
