The seventh (and final) session of Lagoa Wine Experiences 2022 marks the celebrations of World Wine Tourism Day and is scheduled for November 12th, with a special program.
The experiences begin with a visit to Quinta dos Santos, with a wine tasting. Here, the producer presents contemporary installations integrated in harmony with their environment, in a multifaceted project where the pleasure of receiving is in the soul of the owners.
At Quinta da Palmeirinha, at 13 pm, lunch will be served. This farm has a strong connection to wines from the Lagoa region and wines from the Algarve. The property has been in the same family for over a century, having always explored vineyards and produced wine in its own cellar.
«It is here that you can find, probably, the oldest vineyard in the Algarve region (planted in 1942) in economic production, with the Negra Mole grape variety standing straight and conducting in a glass», says the organization of Lagoa Wine Experiences in a note, adding that in the winery of the property there are two unique Algerian amphorae in the country.
To close the last session of this year's Lagoa Wine Experiences, the Adega Cooperativa in Lagoa will host the Closing Party where participants will be surprised with a wine tasting and the opportunity to visit the building that ends a long history for the sector. wine in the region.
