Isabel Camarinha, secretary general of CGTP-IN, will be present at the X Congress of the Union of Unions of Algarve, scheduled for Auditorium 1.5, of the Pedagogical Complex of Campus da Penha, of the University of Algarve, in Faro, next Thursday, October 27th, from 8:30 am.
The congress will have the motto «Algarve – Valuing Salaries, Defending Rights, Qualifying Employment, More Strength in the Workers' Struggle».
The highest body of the USAL, which meets every four years, will analyze the social, economic and political situation in the region, take stock of the activity carried out in the outgoing mandate and approve the intervention strategy for the next four years.
The delegates to the Congress, elected from the respective Unions, will also elect the USAL Board for the term that will run until 2026.
During the break of the Congress, the elected board will meet to elect its Executive Committee and the new coordinator of the board.
