A 26-year-old Finnish woman, who was isolated next to the rocks of João de Arens beach, in Portimão, due to the rising tide, was rescued this afternoon by the crew of the Ferragudo lifeguard.
The alert was received at 12:20 pm, through an employee of a hotel, and the lifeguard crew were immediately sent to the scene, who, upon arrival at the scene, found that the young woman was physically well, without the need for health care.
After rescuing her from the beach, they transported her to the Portimão marina.
The local command of the Maritime Police of Portimão took care of the incident.
