With a budget increase of 50% compared to its predecessor, activities will be carried out to reinforce cultural diversity and address the needs and challenges of the cultural and creative sectors. The novelties aim to contribute to the recovery of sectors, allowing them to intensify their efforts to become more digital, greener, more resilient and more inclusive.

The Culture strand comprises five lines of funding: European Cooperation, Support for European Networks, Support for European Platforms, Support for the Circulation of Literary Works and Pan-European Cultural Entities.

The total budget of the Creative Europe Program 2021-2027 is estimated at €2,44 billion, 33% of which is channeled to Culture.
