The show for children and families “The Sultan’s Good Sentence” will be on stage on Saturday, October 29, at 17:00, in the rehearsal room of Folha de Medronho, at Largo São Francisco, nº12, in Loulé.
This piece by the Alma d'Arame company is based on two of Guerra Junqueiro's short stories. A narrator «does the presentation, introduces the characters and describes the context of the narrated action in indirect speech», describes Folha de Medronho.
«Whenever he switches to direct speech, he manipulates small figures cut out on the glass of an overhead projector that is in front of him and which are projected on the screen», he adds.
The staging and puppets are by Ildeberto Gama. The manipulative actress is Sara Henriques.
