Conrad Algarve brings together 7 chefs for a 10-star Michelin night

Heinz Beck, Sidney Shutte, Liborio Buonocore, Fréderic Larquemin, Artur Martinez, Deni Srdoč, Stefan Barnhusen and Osvalde Silva were the guests

The “10 Years. 10 Stars”, as part of the celebrations of its 10th anniversary of Conrad Algarve, gathered on the 20th of October 7 chefs for an evening with 10 Michelin stars. 

The exclusive dinner took place at the Gusto restaurant, and joined chef Heinz Beck with an elite selection of seven Michelin chefs from Hilton's European portfolio, combining ten stars with each other. The date was chosen to coincide with 'International Chefs Day', an initiative that aims to celebrate this profession of the culinary arts and inspire the next generation of chefs.

Dinner for 14 hands was served as a seven-course menu, with wine pairing by Emília Craveiro, head sommelier at Conrad Algarve.

Heinz Beck *** (La Pergola), Sidney Shutte ** (Spectrum), Liborio Buonocore (Gusto by Heinz Beck ), Fréderic Larquemin * (Gordon Ramsay au Trianon), Artur Martinez *, Aürt, Deni Srdoč * (Nebo Restaurant & Lounge by Dani), Stefan Barnhusen* (Mountain Hub Gourmet) and Osvalde Silva (Conrad Algarve) were the chefs received.

Before the event, chef Heinz Beck, three Michelin stars, also did not hide his emotion: «It is an honor to work side by side at Gusto with this brigade of talented chefs, on the 'International Chef's Day', in celebration of the of the hotel. However, for me, the highlight of the day was being able to cook for the entire hotel team, who do an excellent job every day, both for guests and for those who visit the Gusto restaurant».

On the night of the event, Emma Banks, Hilton EMEA's Vice President of Strategy and Development of Food & Beverage, also said that "we are proud to celebrate the iconic Conrad Algarve, a true reference as a culinary destination in haute cuisine".

To close the 10th anniversary celebration calendar, a new edition of the Conrad Algarve & Quinta do Lago Golf Invitational will be held in December, with the presence of representatives of the most exclusive golf courses in Europe. An initiative that also falls within the scope of the 50th Anniversary of Quinta do Lago.
