Three “Algarvian” chefs invited to a gastronomic festival in Madeira

All guest chefs have Michelin stars

Three chefs from Algarve restaurants were invited to participate in the gastronomic festival “The Art of Flavors 2022” which takes place on the 16th and 17th of September, at Belmond Reid's Palace, in Funchal.

On pause for the last two years due to the pandemic, The Art of Flavors has, this year, a cast of recognized chefs, all of them awarded with Michelin stars.

Among those invited by chef Luís Pestana are the “Algarvians” Luís Brito (“A Ver Tavira”), José Lopes (Bon Bon, Carvoeiro) and Louis Anjos (“Al Sub”, Lagos), all awarded with Michelin stars.

These are joined by chefs Arnaldo Azevedo, from the Vila Foz restaurant, in Porto, Nello Cassese, from the Ristorante Hotel Cipriani, in Rio de Janeiro, and Tiago Bonito, from the Largo do Paço restaurant, in Amarante.

Two chefs will also be invitedIsing superstars from Funchal: chef Júlio Pereira, from Kampo restaurant and chef Selim Latrous, from The Wanderer restaurant.

The price of the event, per person, is 220 euros for the stars dinner and 150 euros for the food party. For those interested in both dinners, a special price of 280 euros has been created.
