Candidate projects for the Regional Architecture Prize on display in Loulé

Between September 6th and November 2nd

Candidate projects for the 1st edition of the Regional Architecture Prize will be on display from 6 September to 2 November, at Palácio Gama Lobo, in Loulé.

The initiative instituted by the Algarve regional section of the Ordem dos Arquitetos aims to promote and encourage architectural quality, the dignification of the urban image and the appreciation and safeguarding of the Algarve's heritage.

«Recognizing the importance of distinguishing professionals with the greatest merit in the construction of the urban environment and in the landscape, this award was intended to reward architects who authored works built in the Algarve, public or private, who stood out for their architectural and constructive quality» , emphasizes the Loulé Chamber in a note.

In Loulé, 13 works can be seen in the categories of “Single-family or two-family housing”, three in “Collective housing”, seven in “Equipment, services and industry” and two in “Rehabilitation and heritage”.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:00 pm, and on Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 14:30 pm.
