An air force and 49 operatives are fighting a fire that broke out around 14:00 pm this Tuesday, September 27, in the Areeiro area, in Loulé.
Ao Sul Informação, a source from the Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command said that “the fire is consuming an area of bush and sugarcane fields, close to the A22”.
According to the same source, “there are no houses at risk”, nor has it been necessary, for the time being, “to cut any roads”.
There are also 12 fire engines on site.
