The Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests (ICNF) has just launched a new platform for requests for pruning, cutting or uprooting of cork oak and holm oak, in order to “make these procedures more efficient and shorten response times”.
On the RUBUS platform, it is possible to make requests and communications about activities that fall within the legal framework for the protection of cork oaks and holm oaks, such as prior notification of thinning, in accordance with the approved Forest Management Plan (PGF), p.issue authorization for cutting, pulling out or thinning (without PGF), requesting authorization for pruning, ccheck communications history and view order history.
To access the platform, the owners must go to the website of the ICNF and submit your forms. These communications are automatically stored in the system and users will be able to consult the status of their processes in real time.
