the 17th of September

The “Open Books” section is back at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé, this time with the presentation of the book “O Sal das Palavras”, by Francisca Graça, on 17 September.

The presentation will take place at 15:00 and will be in charge of Joaquim Teixeira. This session will feature the animation of the Grupo de Cavaquinhos from UATI (University of the Algarve for the Third Age) and admission is free.

Francisca Graça was born in Selmes, a village in the municipality of Vidigueira, in May 1945. She has always been interested in reading, visual arts and crafts. Her experience includes some workshops on how to make chocolates, soaps and creative writing.

«As he considers himself incomplete as a whole, he published some of his writings in prose and now intends to do so in poetry, through the book “O Sal das Palavras”», explains the Câmara de Loulé in a note.
