Three arrested for drug trafficking in Albufeira

Detainees are between 20 and 21 years old

This Monday, August 22, the GNR arrested three men, aged between 20 and 21, for drug trafficking, in the municipality of Albufeira. 

During a patrolling action, the Guard's military found that one of the men was collecting drugs from a hole hidden in a wall, which led to a personal security search that culminated in the seizure of the product.

Following police investigations, a search was carried out at a hotel unit where the suspect was staying and where the other men were, who were also arrested.

The action also resulted in the seizure of 212 doses of cocaine, 32 doses of lime, 28 doses of hashish, 42 MDMA tablets, a precision scale, several hermetic bags, am mountain pass, 1000 Hungarian forint, tthree cell phones and 2 480 euros. 

The detainees were made arguidos and will be present for the first interrogation at the Albufeira Judicial Court, for the application of coercive measures.

The operation was carried out through the Territorial Sub-detachment of Albufeira and the Public Order Intervention Group.
