The PS/Faro proposes that a car park be created near Estrada de São Brás de Alportel to be used, above all, by residents of the Penha area.
The proposal arises due to the lack of parking that the PS/Faro considers there to be in the Penha/Vale da Amoreira area, which «has led residents to park on top of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, putting them at risk of being run over».
Furthermore, the PS emphasizes that, with the extension of Avenida 25 de Abril, which will connect the road from Penha to the road to São Brás de Alportel, «a few dozen parking spaces were removed next to the Pinheiro e Rosa school fence and not only", aggravating the situation.
