Loulé: Artists from Minerva promote workshop for “small talents in the philharmonic”

From the 5th to the 9th of September

The Sociedade Filarmónica Artistas de Minerva (SFAM), in Loulé, is promoting, between the 5th and 9th of September, the workshop “Pequenos Talentos na Filarmónica”, aimed at children between 7 and 12 years old.

The initiative aims to «open the way to musical learning through symbiosis with another ancestral art form, Theater. With the main objective of attracting new talents in both artistic fields, the action is especially aimed at a young target audience, aged between 7 and 12 years old, an age group conducive to the development of their first personal performative skills», emphasizes the Louletana Philharmonic Society in a note.

The trainees will be divided into two groups, alternating between musical training, body language (theatrical) and the combination of the two pedagogies.

The sessions will be in charge of Professor Edgar Santos (winds) and actor Rui Penas (theater) and will take place at SFAM headquarters, from 14:30 pm to 18:30 pm

At the end, there will be a presentation.

The workshop costs 15 euros, and both registration and requests for clarification can be made by calling 289 416 048 or emailing [email protected].
