“Cinema nas Ruínas” returns to Milreu

The “Cinema nas Ruínas” initiative is part of the DiVaM program

Three open-air cinema sessions are back in September at the Roman Ruins of Milreu, in Estoi (Faro). The program will address the theme of the oceans. 

The “Cinema nas Ruínas” initiative will be promoted by Cinemalua – Associação Cultural and is part of the DiVaM program of the Algarve Regional Directorate of Culture.

The films to be shown will be “Oceans”, by Jacques Perrin, on the 10th of September, “A Cordillera dos Sonhos”, by Patricio Guzmán, on the 17th and “A Viagem de Pedro”, by Laís Bodanzky, on the 24th of September.

All sessions will be free, by appointment and will be subject to a maximum capacity of 100 people. Tickets booked in advance must be picked up at the venue on the day of the session between 21:00 pm and 21:20 pm;

Unmarked or uncollected tickets will be made available on the day of the session from 21:20.

The event has the support of the União das Freguesias de Conceição and Estoi in the supply of chairs to the public and with DRCAlg in the financing, assignment of space, logistical support, energy supply and dissemination.
