The PCP Summer Rally takes place this Saturday, July 23, at 21:00 pm, in Largo da Pontinha (Faro), with the presence of João Ferreira, former MEP and candidate for President of the Republic.
«This initiative is part of a vast program of rallies, and other actions, to be carried out throughout the region in these summer months until the Festa do Avante», says the PCP, in a statement.
This rally “will point out the war, the sanctions and the uses that big capital makes of them, in addition to the consequences of the measures that came from the pandemic and that are having a negative impact on the evolution of the economic and social situation in the country, with the Algarve particularly exposed. to the trend towards worsening living conditions, increased exploitation and the degradation of public services'.
The initiative will also serve to promote the Festa do Avante, in the municipality of Faro, with a bank with all the information.
