Loulé installs new electric vehicle charging station in Vale do Lobo

Municipal network of stations of this type continues to grow

The municipal company Loulé Concelho Global, in partnership with the municipal company Infralobo, installed a new Electric Vehicle Charging Station in Vale de Lobo, at the access to Garrão Nascente beach (Av. Oceano). 

This new semi-fast charging station for electric vehicles «will reinforce the municipal electric vehicle charging network installed in the municipality and is equipped with a three-phase charger with a power of 44 kW and the capacity to supply energy to two electric vehicles simultaneously», according to Loulé Concelho. Global.

The existing municipal network in Loulé currently has 46 charging points, «dispersed from the coast to the interior of the municipality of Loulé. This initiative promoted by the company Loulé Concelho Global is in line with the Municipal Climate Action Plan of Loulé, in particular in actions for the decarbonization of the transport sector.

The station now installed is part of the Mobi.e national electric mobility network, which has more than 2.500 charging stations in Portugal.
