The leisure time program “Férias Super Fixe”, promoted by the Municipality of Silves, is back this summer, between the 4th and 29th of July. The initiative is aimed at children and adolescents aged between 6 and 12 years old.
Interested parties can register online, between 13th and 20th of June and, if there are still vacancies, between 24th of June and 4th of July, at the Portal of the Municipality of Silves. Here you can register for the Armação de Pera, Pêra, Alcantarilha, Algoz and Tunes group, here for the group from São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra and here for the Silves group.
Registration is limited to 132 participants and costs 65 euros per fortnight.
The program includes the offer of transport, lunch, insurance, t-shirt and monitoring of qualified technicians and monitors for the various activities planned.
Participants must wear appropriate equipment for the activities (which will take place from 9 am to 00 pm), namely the “Super Cool Vacation” t-shirt, tracksuit or shorts, sweatshirt and sneakers.
On water activities, a bathing suit, cap, towel and flip-flops are required. They should also be accompanied by a mid-morning and afternoon snack, water and complying with hygiene standards.
The program of activities includes group games, traditional games, swimming, Monchique Municipal Swimming Pools, laser tag, canoeing, beach, super cool cinema, water parks, beach and visit to the Pedagogical Farm.
«Promoting the comprehensive training of young people, strengthening bonds of friendship and meeting the growing need of parents and guardians to find suitable occupational contexts for their students to attend during the interruption of school activities are the main objectives of this program. », highlights the Chamber of Silves.
