Rescued couple dragged by the current in Cacela Velha

Couple did not need medical assistance

A 48-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man, both Brazilians, who were struggling in the water, were rescued this Friday, June 10, by elements of the “Seawatch” Project, in Ria Formosa, in Cacela. Old.

According to the Maritime Authority, the couple was "without foot" and was dragged by the current.

“Following the victims’ request for help, elements of the “SeaWatch” Project, who were nearby, immediately moved to the site, with the support of a personal watercraft”, says the Maritime Authority.

The couple was transported ashore, they were physically well, so they did not need medical assistance.
