Burger King has one more store in the Algarve, in Alcantilha, in the municipality of Silves, inserted in the Sudoeste Retail Park, which has just been opened and which is the largest Retail Park in the Algarve.
With this opening, the brand now has 10 restaurants in the district of Faro and creates another 30 direct jobs, in addition to the 270 that already exist.
The Burger King in Alcantarilha has about 350m2 and has a capacity for 129 people (94 inside and 35 on the terrace). The restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 23:00 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays it closes at 0:00 am. The Drive Thru service is open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Burger King arrived in the Algarve in 2001 with the restaurant at Forum Algarve, in Faro, and has since strengthened its presence in the district. The last opening had been in Vila Real de Santo António in 2021.
With a Play King space especially dedicated to the youngest, Burger King in Alcantarilha offers a beverage refill system, pre-order kiosks and free wifi and includes a take away service, Drive Thru and Home Delivery.

This opening, emphasizes the brand, «follows the Royal image concept with a decoration where the use of white oak stands out to frame the well-known Home of the Whopper motto, transporting us to the landscapes of North America. The cement and black brick walls, combined with the lighting and exposed installations, give the space an industrial atmosphere. The restaurant has sofas, high communal tables and individual tables so that customers can choose how they prefer to enjoy their hamburger».
