Coach Paulo Sérgio has renewed with Portimonense until 2024, announced this Tuesday, May 17, the SAD of the Algarve emblem.
In a statement, Portimonense says that this renewal is "reinforced by the interest and confidence of SAD do Portimonense in maintaining a balanced and consistent posture around the work of the coach and his team".
Paulo Sérgio «achieved one of the goals imposed at the beginning of the 21/22 season» – keeping in the I Liga – «and potentiated and valued young players from the under-23 team».
The administration of SAD guarantees to be «very happy» for the «continuity of Paulo Sérgio's work and in the projects that were presented when he first arrived in Portimão».
«Paulo Sérgio, in addition to being an excellent professional, is a person with character and enjoys the work he develops at the club», he adds.
